  • Rendell SCTE revealed that Pennsylvania Gov. Edward G. Rendell will address attendees of Cable-Tec Expo 2008 in Philadelphia during the event's noontime Annual Awards Luncheon on Wed., June 25. He'll offer his insights on the telecommunications industry's increasingly prominent role in American society and the industry's potential for stimulating growth in the economy and advancements in education.
  • AdGorilla named Carla Cortis as EVP, corporate strategy. Previously, she was VP, distribution and field marketing for Lifetime Entertainment Services.
  • MiTV appointed Andrea Kramas business development director. Prior to this, she held the position of hospitality account executive at Comcast where she introduced the Time Warner/Comcast interactive TV solution to the Houston hotel market.
  • Four new employees are joining Mixed Signals expanding sales force. Jeff Porter, Rob Wiggins, Tino Muders and Crystal Hoey have been hired as the newest sales execs.
  • Paff Headwaters, one of the largest independent, middle-market investment banking firms in the U.S., named Andy Paff as a managing director with a focus on IMS telecommunication technology. Previously, Paff was the president/CEO of Cedar Point.
  • ViewTEQ announced the employment of Charlie Mildenberger, who comes to the company with 27 years of sales experience with Viewsonics.
