  • At Cable-Tec Expo in Philadelphia, SCTE's Board of Directors announced the board members it elected as officers for the 2008-2009 term:

  • Philip Hoffman, manager, technical training and consulting at Cox, received the 2008 SCTE Excellence in Cable Telecommunications Learning & Development Award. The award recognizes the achievements of learning and development professionals within cable who have demonstrated significant success toward advancing the careers of others through the use of cable telecommunications technology-centric curricula and learning programs.
