Broadband Gear Report Announces 2008 Broadcast of Broadband Gear Television (BGTV)
Special Product-Focused Program to be shown in Six Major Hotels and in Exhibit HallArlington, VA, May 23, 2008 - Broadband Gear Report, a Hermes Media & Research, LLC publication has announced the second release of its annual television program to be released in conjunction with SCTE Cable-Tec EXPO in Philadelphia, Pa. on June 25 and 26, 2008. BGTV will be broadcast in the six main show hotels and will also be broadcast in the main exhibit hall from the Broadband Gear Cyber Cafe. BGTV will focus on the groundbreaking technologies for review on the show floor, an up-close look at the 2008 Diamond Technology Review high scores, key events and programs at the EXPO, a restaurant and tourism resource, SCTE special video vignettes, and a special report on SDV deployment strategies, as well as sponsored vendor messages."We are thrilled to have such a successful initiative continue to thrive," said Tim Hermes, Publisher of Broadband Gear Report. "With this year's event in Philadelphia and with it being the 25th anniversary of the EXPO, we anticipate yet another smash program." Last year over 30 products were presented in the progam. This year's BGTV program will run approximately 45 minutes and will loop continuously in the six main show hotels. Sponsors for this year's program already include several leading vendors. BGTV's release will serve as the kick-off for its new VideoCast series of product video presentations. VideoCasts are three- minute video tutorials hosted by BGR that will serve to alert the industry about the newest products being offered to the broadband engineering community.
